1. Electronic record & acceptance

1.1 This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and rules made thereunder, and does not require physical or digital signatures.

1.2 By accessing, registering for, or using the Platform (https://www.stuquiz.com/), its mobile site, or the StuQuiz mobile application (Google Play package com.stuquiz.stuquiz_mobile and its iOS equivalent) (collectively, the "Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree, please do not use the Platform.

1.3These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Stucare Innovation and Creation Private Limited, the Platform owner ("we", "us", "our"). You accept responsibility for ensuring all information you provide on registration and thereafter is true, accurate and complete.

1.4 These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

1.5 We may amend these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we may require you to review and re-accept the updated Terms before you can continue using the Platform, and your continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance (see Section 13).

2. Definitions

  • Platform - the website, mobile site and mobile application operated by the Platform Owner.
  • User / You - any person who accesses or uses the Platform.
  • Premium Member - a User who has purchased a paid subscription or otherwise qualified for Premium access.
  • Quizzes - interactive question-and-answer games and live events on the Platform which may award StuCoins, points, ranks, or prizes.
  • StuCoins - a virtual, in-app currency and reward points system used on the Platform (see Section 5).
  • Cash Wallet / StuVault - where offered, a wallet holding a real Indian Rupee (INR) balance that can be withdrawn to your bank account or UPI, subject to eligibility and verification.
  • Flash Deals / Drops - time-limited product-purchase events (including Sunday midnight Flash Deals and weekly drops).
  • Mystery Box - a purchasable or earnable box that reveals a randomised reward, where offered.
  • Lucky Spin / Spin Wheel - a gamified reward mechanism governed by the Spin terms below.
  • Coupons / Offers - discount codes or promotional offers made available on the Platform.
  • Scholarship - a monetary or educational award offered through Platform promotions or quiz outcomes, subject to additional verification.
  • User Content - any information, images, or documents you upload or submit (for example, avatars, identity / date-of-birth proof, scholarship documents, and reward-claim photos).
  • Processors - the third-party service providers we use to operate the Platform, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Eligibility & age restrictions

3.1 The Platform is intended for students and for Users who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law.

3.2 If you are under 18 years of age (a minor), you may use the Platform only with the involvement, supervision, and verifiable consent of your parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the Platform, including any paid or financial features. We may require identity, age, and/or parental-consent verification for such Users.

3.3 We reserve the right to refuse registration, cancel accounts, or restrict access if eligibility requirements are not met.

4. Account, security & payments

4.1 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including any two-factor authentication (2FA) method you enable, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

4.2You must not use another User's account, payment instrument, or identity, and you must not create multiple accounts to gain an advantage or circumvent restrictions.

4.3 Payments for subscriptions, Flash Deals, weekly drops, Mystery Boxes, spins, or other purchases must be made through the payment methods offered on the Platform. Payments on the web and Android are processed by Cashfree Payments, and payments on iOS are processed by Apple through the App Store / in-app purchase. Withdrawals from the Cash Wallet are paid to the bank or UPI details you provide.

4.4 We are not liable for payment failures caused by third-party payment processors, networks, banks, or internet-connection issues.

4.5For time-sensitive events (e.g. Sunday midnight Flash Deals where the first successful payer wins), the Platform's server time (Indian Standard Time - IST) is authoritative. Network latency, clock skew, or local device time do not create any entitlement.

4.6 Attempted or successful circumvention, fraud, multi-accounting, or payment / chargeback abuse will result in immediate suspension, forfeiture of rewards, and possible civil / criminal referral.

5. StuCoins, rewards & fulfilment

5.1 StuCoins. StuCoins are a virtual in-app currency and points system with no independent monetary value. They are not legal tender, are not your property, and are non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash, except that, where the Cash Wallet / withdrawal feature is expressly made available to you, eligible balances may be withdrawn in accordance with the rules and verification shown in the app.

5.2 StuCoins may be earned through gameplay and redeemed for prizes, premium access, or other items shown on the Platform, subject to availability, eligibility, and verification.

5.3 StuCoin balances may expire, be adjusted, or be voided if earned or credited in error, or if you violate these Terms.

5.4 Rewards & fulfilment. Physical rewards are shipped through our courier partners. You must provide accurate and complete shipping details (recipient name, address, and phone number); we are not responsible for non-delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete details. Shipping fees, taxes, and other charges apply where stated in the app.

5.5 Winning or claiming a reward does not guarantee immediate fulfilment. Rewards may require verification, and you may be asked to upload supporting photos or documents. Scholarships and high-value prizes are subject to additional documentary proof, Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification, and Platform approval before dispatch.

6. Flash Deals, weekly drops & Mystery Box

6.1 Flash Deals (including Sunday midnight events), weekly drops, and Mystery Boxes are special product / reward events with limited quantities offered at the prices shown in the app. These events follow these rules:

  • First-to-Pay: the product is awarded to the first User whose payment is successfully received and settled by the Platform at or after the scheduled event start time. The Platform's server timestamp is final.
  • Limited quantity: products are strictly limited; an item is sold only when the Platform confirms a successful, settled payment and issues an order confirmation.
  • Payment & settlement: failed or pending transactions do not reserve or guarantee the product.
  • Randomised rewards: Mystery Box outcomes are system-generated and probability-based; you are not guaranteed any particular item.
  • No liability for external delays: we are not liable for internet latency, payment-processor delays, or banking holds that prevent a successful purchase.
  • Purchase limits: per-event and per-User limits shown in the app apply. Abusive purchase patterns or multiple accounts are considered fraudulent.
  • Cancellation & refunds: orders cancelled for fraud, verification failure, or unavailability are handled per our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • Delivery & costs: shipping charges, taxes, duties (if any), and other fees are the User's responsibility unless explicitly stated.

6.2 The Platform reserves the right to modify event mechanics, postpone or cancel events, and refuse or revoke an award for suspected fraud, technical errors, or legal reasons.

7. Premium subscription, in-app purchases & Lucky Spin

7.1 Premium subscription. Premium unlocks the features described in the app. Subscriptions are billed through Cashfree on the web and Android and through Apple on iOS, at the price and billing period shown at the point of purchase.

7.2 Auto-renewal. Where a subscription is set to auto-renew, it will renew automatically for successive periods and the applicable amount will be charged through your chosen payment method until you cancel.

7.3 Cancellation. You may cancel a subscription at any time. Subscriptions purchased through Apple must be cancelled through your Apple ID / App Store subscription settings; subscriptions purchased on the web or Android are cancelled as described in the app. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not shorten the current paid period.

7.4 Refunds. Except as required by applicable law or as expressly provided in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, payments for subscriptions and in-app purchases are non-refundable. Purchases made through Apple are also subject to Apple's refund process.

7.5 Lucky Spin - eligibility & cost. Lucky Spin may be limited to Premium Members and is offered at the spin cost and daily / periodic limits shown in the app.

7.6 Randomised rewards.Spin outcomes are system-generated and probability-based. High-value rewards are limited in quantity and frequency, and winning does not guarantee immediate fulfilment; physical rewards require verification and follow the Platform's shipping and delivery policies.

7.7 Fraud & manipulation.Any attempt to manipulate Lucky Spin or other in-app mechanics (bots, multiple accounts, VPN / device spoofing, or tampering) will result in suspension, forfeiture of rewards, and possible legal action. Decisions made by the Platform's system regarding these mechanics are final and binding.

7.8 Changes. The Platform may change, pause, or discontinue Premium features, Lucky Spin, or any in-app purchase at any time.

8. Promotions, coupons, scholarships, donations, taxes & compliance

8.1 Offers, promotions, and prize descriptions on the Platform form part of these Terms only where expressly stated.

8.2 Coupons & discounts. Unless otherwise stated, coupons and discount codes are single-use, subject to per-User and per-offer limits shown in the app, have no cash value, cannot be combined, and may be withdrawn or voided where we detect abuse or error.

8.3 Scholarships. Scholarships are administered by the Platform and are subject to eligibility criteria, documentary verification, and approval. Scholarships are non-transferable.

8.4 Donations. Donations made through the Platform, where offered, are voluntary and, unless required by law, non-refundable.

8.5 Taxes. Winners and Users are responsible for paying any taxes or statutory deductions arising from prizes, scholarships, purchases, or withdrawals. We may withhold prize fulfilment or apply tax deductions at source (TDS) where required by law until the necessary forms or payments are completed.

8.6 Users are responsible for complying with any local laws regarding participation in paid games, contests, or promotions.

9. Intellectual property & user content

9.1 All content, software, designs, marks, and materials on the Platform are proprietary to the Platform Owner or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any content from the Platform except as expressly permitted.

9.2 User Content. You retain ownership of the User Content you upload. By uploading it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and use that content solely for the purpose for which you provided it (for example, verifying your age or eligibility, assessing a scholarship application, or processing a reward claim) and to operate, secure, and improve the Platform, in line with our Privacy Policy.

9.3 Your warranties.You warrant that you have all rights necessary to upload your User Content, that it is accurate and not misleading, that it does not infringe any third party's rights, and that any documents you submit are genuine. Submitting forged, altered, or fraudulent documents is a serious breach of these Terms.

10. Prohibited conduct & fair play

10.1 You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform to commit fraud, cheat, or misrepresent identity or results;
  • Cheat during Quizzes or live events, including switching tabs / windows, using external help, screen-sharing, or otherwise breaching fair-play rules;
  • Create multiple accounts, or use bots, scripts, or automation, to gain an advantage or circumvent restrictions;
  • Engage in payment fraud or chargeback abuse;
  • Interfere with the operation of the Platform (including reverse engineering, scraping, scanning, hacking, or using VPN / device spoofing to manipulate mechanics);
  • Solicit, harass, or harm other Users; or
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or these Terms.

10.2 Anti-cheat. To keep Quizzes and events fair, we log anti-cheat signals (such as tab-switch and window-focus events and violation counts) during gameplay. Detected violations may result in warnings, disqualification from the relevant Quiz or event, and forfeiture of related StuCoins, ranks, or rewards.

10.3 Violation of this Section may result in immediate suspension, permanent ban, forfeiture of prizes and balances, and referral to law enforcement.

11. Indemnity & limitation of liability

11.1 Indemnity: You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Platform Owner from claims arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform, breach of these Terms, or violation of any law or rights of a third party.

11.2 Limitation of liability:To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform Owner's aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid by you to the Platform in the 12 months preceding the claim. The Platform Owner is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages.

12. Suspension, termination & forfeiture

12.1 We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, legal obligations, or other legitimate business reasons.

12.2 On termination for breach, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately, and any StuCoins, Cash Wallet balances obtained through the breach, unclaimed prizes, or pending rewards may be forfeited. You may also close your account at any time as described on our Delete account page.

13. Modifications

13.1We may change these Terms at any time by posting revised Terms on the Platform with a revised "Last updated" date. Where changes are material, we may require you to review and re-accept the updated Terms in order to continue using the Platform. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13.2 We may modify or discontinue features (Flash Deals, weekly drops, Mystery Boxes, Quizzes, Lucky Spin, Premium, or others) without prior notice.

14. Dispute resolution & governing law

14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

14.2Before initiating legal proceedings, parties should attempt to resolve disputes through the Platform's support channels.

15. Miscellaneous & contact

15.1 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder will continue in full force.

15.2 Entire agreement: These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and the Platform Owner.
